Eggs/round 2

Eggs from my russian tortoises. I really like this superhatch for hatching eggs, it holds humidity real well for a long time. It has dropped 2% in 2 months.
They all laid eggs early this year.....there may be a round 3. I am tickled to death

Well there was no 3rd round, also, still have not added water to the medium and it is at 85% humidity.

Well, the first clutches have hatched. There were 7 eggs, but only 6 hatched. The second clutches have 7 total also. Sure is a big difference from last 2 years.
This is the first time that all ate at the same time. Still learning to hold the food with a front foot to tear it into small pieces. Lots of fun to watch.

That is a darling bunch of young'uns. Thanks for posting the pics. I have maybe 3 viable eggs incubating out at Bryan's shop. We are just watching to see when they will, or if they will, hatch. I don't see how baby torts survive in the wild but they seem equipped well. Just love them baby tortoises.
