marbled red foot tortoise

im getting a red foot tortoise from a freind he said he found it but it looks like it has marbling? does any onne know anything about the white blotches or if its even marbling?

i just got him today and hes awsome! that pic was take in 2009 now hes 10 inches, but i looked at his stomach and its amazing its more white than black!!!
oh ya and then i got another russion who runs around biting the redfoots feet........

yeah, cherryheads generally have marbling on their shells. some more than others, but definitely one of their traits. i think it makes them look real good.
