pythons mouth

Have a retic that had a nose rub and it rubbed the scab off that it did have. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should use to medicate its mouth from infection?

If you can get chlorhexidine that would probably be best. you can use something like hyrdogen peroxide but you need to really rinse the mouth out with clean water after to help prevent any of it being swallowed. I'm hoping this would be one of the smaller ones...cause it's a pain to wash out a small snakes mouth.... on a giant retic... probably gonna want a whole team of people there

Put some neosporin on it after you clean it. If its on cypress, I would switch it over to newspaper until its healed again.
