My first "Hot" :D

Just got this gorgeous guy in today from a close friend
Sulawesi Black Mangrove snake (Boiga dendrophila gemmicincta)




So he's not a full venomous but could still pack a punch if he gets me, and he is apparently pretty bipolar as most mangroves are. He wasn't so bad coming out of the bag but probably just because he was cold, we shall see how that goes.
He is a long term captive animal and picky about eating rodents but he will take mice. I haven't decided yet if I am going to continue fighting with him to take mice or just switch him over to chicks and quail (which he takes every time without hesitation). He would be eating mostly birds in the wild so an all rodent diet may not even be the healthiest thing for him but other boiga thrive on them so no reason why he shouldn't... .aside from just not wanting to eat em -.-
We'll see how it all goes!
