CHILDRENS and SPOTTED PYHTONS
Does any one have any experience with keeping either one of the above listed pythons? If so, how would you rate them as far as ease of care and temperment compared to a ball python. In the near future I am seriously wanting to add one of each to my collection. Also, does anyone breed either one of these pythons? What is the price range? Thank you.

I have kept and bred those in the past but got out of them years ago to focus on other projects. They really are great little pythons. For the most part they are very calm and easy to take care of. They are also extremely easy to breed. I would say they are often as handleable as ball pythons but are much more active. My buddy Ryan Young breeds both of these species every year as well as Stimson's and pygmy pythons. I can give you his email if you want it.

Blake, that would be great if you could send me his email. I plan to try and get my building up by spring of next year. I will then start inquiring more seriously about additional pythons to add to my collection.
Thank you

They are awesome snakes, what I really like about them is that they stay a very manageable size, and they have some very beautiful patterns and coloration.

Bryan, did you get anything at the show? There were several people with Spotted Pythons.

No, my wife and I just closed on our new house today, and I have to wait until I get my reptile building built in the backyard before I can get anything else. I can only have my Ball python named Monty for now.
