goodbye Pepper

Those of you that came to my house saw how loyal pepper was. She followed me everywhere. Going down to the lake fishing or scouting for deer she was right beside me. She was more than a dog to me. She was my companion, my friend, a family member. She loved playing catch and hated me pulling ticks off of her. She passed away today. I lost my companion and friend. I will walk alone to the lake and scouting for deer. I can't express how much sadness I have in my heart. I love her and I'm going to miss her dearly.

Thanks Scott. I'm thankful for the years I had with her. I'm not much of a dog person like my wife but Pepper won my heart over.

That's crazy. She was so lively when we were there. I'm sorry for your loss.

Thanks. I don't know if you remember the old swimming pool that was laying on the ground that we were going to look under but I'm assuming she went under it for something and couldn't get out. It just got too hot under there for her.

Sorry for you loss Zak. I know too well about losing a fishing buddy. I haven't had a good one since my dog Katy died 6yrs ago.

They are sure special when you have one like that and they will never be replaced. Thanks Pat. Sorry about yours also bud.

I've had to put down a couple of dogs, one I did myself and it really killed me. I cried of course. One a few years ago was our kid before we had kids and then when our human kids came along he treated them like they were his own. I know nothing we say makes it better but i'm really sorry.

Thank you Robin. Its gonna take a while for me to get over this. I never thought id mourn this hard for a dog. She was more than that to me of course. I do like dogs but never loved one like I did Pepper.
