Ornamental Molted

That little ornamental I got from you molted last night. She (or he) is even prettier and darker! It was really cool, I went to mist and she had a web built up in the branches (that she had been working on for a few days) and was laying upside down like she was dead, of course I got really excited. An hour or two later I went back and checked on her and it looked like she was just finishing up. I swear her fangs were a very light gray color. I had to look again and they were. I had an awsome view. If I'd known it would happen so fast I would of stayed and watched. I thought It might be this morning before I would see that she was finished. I'm bummed that I didn't check on her more often but excited I got to see her still finishing up whatever she was doing after she wiggled out. The web was partly in the way. Maybe I'll get a better seat next time

Thanks, I'll try that tomorrow or wed. I was messing arould and I saw where you could browse to put on a pic for your avatar? It said it would show at the bottom of the message, but I thought the "avatar" was the pic on the side?

It says "below your details", and your details (name, rank, etc.) are at the left side of all of your posts.

Color depends on the type Sometimes. I have seen this color on a female. I did read something about the lenth of the legs so I need to go back and check on that. It's "butt" is pretty small so might be a male. But could just be because of just molting. My other 2 I think are def. female but still not sure on this one? Anybody got any hints?

the abdomen size has nothing to do with sex. you won't be able to sex it until it get's large enough to examine it's molt for the the absence or presence of spermathecae. a visual can also be done it gets large enough to ventrally check the epigastric furrow region on the underside of the abdomen. yours is too small for either of these unless you have a microscope...
