shocker
Well I ended up getting another rack and I was going through it tonight and cleaning the tubs and I think the guy I bought the rack forgot to take someone out.

Merry Christmas! Happy Birthday! and Happy New Year! What a find! I usually only find dust bunnies.

Re: shocker
It for sure suprised me. I found him/her coiled up inside of the water dish. I told the owner that I found it. Not sure if he's gonna come get the snake or not.

Re: shocker
The snake is in shed. I can't wait to see it shed and see what it looks like.

Re: shocker
Funny you should ask because I have no idea lol. I was hoping one of you guys might know. To me it looks like some kind of milk snake.

Re: shocker
Looks like a Eastern Milk or a Thayeri Kingsnake. What do you think Larry?

Re: shocker
The picture is too dark for me to tell for sure.
Need to see more of the snake in much more light.
Really need to see the head and body pattern in good light.

Re: shocker
I'm not sure either. Feed it and if it doesn't eat, it's a gray-banded king.

Re: shocker
Looks like an Eastern Milk to me, but it is kinda hard to tell without being able to see the head.

Re: shocker
I'm sorry Zak.
The head is still not clearly visable.
It needs to be in the sun, not in a shadow.
If you're into kings and milks, positive identification
can be really tricky and the markings on top of the
head are important.
Based on the two photos it appears to be a Red Milk
Snake, but without seeing a clear picture of the head
I'm not sure.
Does this look like your snake ?

Re: shocker
I am leaning towards a Red Milk now, but Larry will know much better than I. Great pic of the head by the way!

Re: shocker
Thanks. Its kinda tough to get the little guy to be still. The snake is pretty easy going and doesn't mind to be handled much. I'm going to go ahead and feed it tomorrow.
