Thanks to Pat, I'm now the proud owner of a Jungle Carpet Python.
Thanks again Pat.

Re: New JCP
So far he's supporting my research.
Hatchlings are usually "nippy", but they grow out of that for the most part.
Most adults are very docile.
A "nippy" adult "probably won't change, regardless of how much they're handled."
"They tend not to have shedding problems, but some are reluctant to eat rats, preferring mice."
Pat said this one takes rats without any problems and so far he's "kitten tame".
Time will tell, if he'll work for my programs.

Your welcome Larry!!! I hope he works out for you. Forgot to mention, I always used a hook to get him out of his tub.

Larry,
I was gonna give you crap for getting a JCP from someone else but since you got it from Pat I won't. Congrats on the pickup!

Re: New JCP
I don't blame you for not wanting to get bit. I just think you were no fun for warning Larry to use a hook. He should learn the hard way hahaha.
Re: New JCP
Although I know better, I feed my snakes in their cages, so I remove them using another method and I've never been bit doing it the way I do it.
(I'm not a big fan of snake hooks, except with venomous.)
I plan on using this same method with the JCP....

Its nice to see that my old JCP has a nice home. I originally picked him up from a guy in Tulsa and man he was mean. I don't use snake hooks and he use to tag me every time I tried to get him out lol. Had him for about a year before he got traded to Cameron. I think I did a pretty good job taming him down

Yep, he was always a "puppy dog" with me, unless there was a rat involved. LOL!!!
