Coachwhips?
Just checking to see if anyone is doing anything-breeding, keeping coachwhips? Just curious. I have a friend who is also a naturalist and we used her display coachwhip for a program. He was stunning and I didn't even get tagged. Just call me the snake charmer.

Doc Minson is the only person I know that keeps them, although I would like to. He is not on the forum though. He might have a spare.

That's no joke. but its just that easy. We are all gonna burn our internet connections one day and go back to CBs. MARK MY WORDS!!!!
Re: Coachwhips?
Hello all. Please let me know if you come across any juvie W. Coachwhips and I would still love to find a CB. All of my potential sources have fallen through and I think a CB juvie will fare better in the long run with what I put them through program-wise. I can't believe I'm looking for one after having a 4' one named "Spaz" and a 6' one named "Tag." I'm guess I'm a glutton for punishment.

I have a handsome new addition I have named Norman (yes as in Bates-LOL) and I have to say that I am totally smitten by him (or her but a girl named Norman would sound dumb). I might have to actually find my PhotoBucket password and post some pics.

Sorry, I really don't like "Orman" for a girl either. ROFL.

Well, Norman has had a nice shed and is eating f/t rodents for me. He remains pretty mellow for a coachwhip and I have found that he is mesmerized by the tv. I was interested in observing one over the long term and he is perfect. Just as my husband and I were talking about their keen vision and wondering how well they see 3D movement, Norman reacted to a man punching at the camera lens on tv. The timing was hilarious.
Just call me weird coachwhip woman, Tandy

That's so cool.
I guess being a visual/site predator also makes for being a good tv viewer.
