Blue Crested Gecko

Someone had a question about a blue crested gecko as printed on the cover of The Vivarium Vol 6 No. 6. I did some research and it seems that the color was off on the photo. All of the other blue crested gecko pictures people pulled up were known photoshop jobs like on this link:

It appears that the color in the printing was off. Some theorize that it could have been a gecko in shed, to add to an even more bluish tint.

In other words . . . it doesn't look like a blue crested exists.

I used to work in graphics design and have used photoshop since 1998 . . . I could color one of my geckos blue in about 10 minutes. You just have to trace over the outline of the animal, then adjust the hue. And boom. Maybe fix some shading here or there.

I can't find a picture of that cover. Any hints??
