Re: My Annulata
Thanks, i am actually just getting back into the hobby. I used to be around quite a bit and I set up a few times at the okc shows in the early to mid 2000's. I do mostly a bunch of colubrids.

I do not at this moment but it is my goal to get into the asian species that i can see you are a fan of. I love coxi, latacinctus, and mandrina. I was just telling a friend of mine the other day how cool the old world rats were as they had never seen any of them...

That is AWESOME!!! Yay, I won't be the only one into those snakes here anymore! By next spring I should have a pair of all three of those species! My favorites have been the various Beauty Snakes (Orthriophis taeniurus ssp.), and the Red Tailed Green Ratsnakes (Gonyosoma oxycephalum), but really like all the "ratsnake" species that I have!JZachary wrote:I do not at this moment but it is my goal to get into the asian species that i can see you are a fan of. Yes, it amazes me how little the average herper knows about Asian ratsnakes (especially here in OK). Most people don't even know some of them exist until I show them photos etc. (much like how your friend had never seen any of those species before). I hope to change that around here though!

Re: My Annulata
I am just glad to see the prices coming down. When i first got into liking coxi they were $1k a piece and now they are very reasonable. Same for cb mandarins.

Yeah, me too! But, with the fire at Pro Exotics, the prices of coxi and laticincta will probably go up (one breeder I have already talked to said he is going to raise his prices up from ~$350 a pair to at least $500 a pair). But it is still MUCH better than what they once where.JZachary wrote:I am just glad to see the prices coming down.
