Egg binding or Absorption
Well one of my milii laid an egg on saturday, was fertile and perfect, but didn't drop the 2nd , was worried all week and still no other egg, finally got to the vet yesterday and we palpated and tried looking for the egg to aspirate it and couldn't find it, she hasn't laid. we didn't see any white, the 2nd time we really looked and foudn a little thing that was white but was smaller than my pinky nail so wasn't an egg, could be starting of the next one but wasn't big enough to be the shell of the last one, so either absorbed the whole thing which i hear is rare with term eggs. or it popped and she absorbed it and the white thing is the shell which is already calcified that nothing can be done about. i'm perplexed and even my breeder friend that i got them from doesn't know what is going on, she's off food but is eating a food mix i made in small doses so other than that she's fine.

Hope she is doing well and gets completely back to normal soon. Hope the good egg is just that--viable! and that you get a nice little milii out of it. Keep us posted!

the egg is def fertile which that's good, she passed a urate yesterday which is good means she's gettign hydrated again, but still worried, because there's just nothing, no shell that was absorbed/popped so if that isn't passed can calcify and can cause lots of problems with her. i've got her in a 16qt tub with paper towell, andher lay box etc...
will wait until i get a full poo out of her, and she's back on eating (only eats a food mix i've been making right now, not eating supers again yet) .. once she's back to eating and passing everythign fine i will put her back in her condo with the male but i am really tired of feeding her this food mix it's not getting a lot in her and hoping she will finally eat a super for me soon.
the male finally stopped his pity party the other day and ate, after being removed from his girl for the last 2 weeks they're very social geckos.

she passed it yesterday was very odd looking and was split down the bottom so probably popped and absorbed but was very weird that we didn't see the egg inside at all when we were palpating her and everything, now to just wait on her to eat again, got 2 poo's in there after that too it looks like, i was gone all day so all this happened sometime during the day.

You must be feeling some relief now that she's passed that mass. Hopefully she'll get back to normal completely very soon, and you can put her back with her mate (not too soon, though--she needs plenty of time to recuperate fully!).

Yah I'm def relieved a bit. Personal goals was wait for poo. Wait for something to pass. And wait for a feeding. Well she passed a urate the other day. And when I checked on her yesterday was 2 poo's and urates. Still not interested in food. But that's the last thing. Male was off food for a week during his pity party being separated. And the other female. Only eats about 1-2 x a week. So I'm confident she will eat in the next day or two. If she doesn't. I have the squash and a/d mix I can feed her again she don't like it. But gets some nutrients in her.
