Lost One Tonight
My little racer was not alive when I came in to check on him tonight. He was pefectly fine yesterday, and this morning. He was a cool little snake and will be missed.

Really sorry to here that Michael.
He definitely seemed to be doing better in captivity for you than I had been expecting when I first gave him to you though (He was the only one out of all 18 hatchlings that we were able to get to eat). Did he ever give you any trouble when it came to eating?

Nope. He was active and alert up until last night when I found him. He was just laying across the front with his head near the waterbowl. He looked like he was still alive, but wasn't. I don't know much about snake anatomy, but if he was a human, I would think he just had a sudden heart attack or something. Really weird.

So sorry to hear that. It seems especially hard when you don't know why.
