You can stop feeding pellets as soon as the front legs come in. They will be good to go on their own until they morph out. Congrats man!

I had tadpoles as a kid....but they are cooler with some color.
Before front legs popped out.
after...
I just looked in the tub and he was out of the water. Took a picture and he jumped back in the water.

Those are so awsome! All ya'll have gorgeous frogs. I loved finding tadpoles in places that held water as a kid and watching them turn into toads or frogs whatever they were! Of course those had nooo color. Yours are much better

Re: My first dart frog eggs
Well, one month out of the water. He is a springtail eating champion......wingless fruitflies are a little harder for him to eat, but manages to get one down now and then.

Great frog lesson here
Dave & Josh,
Thanks for the series of pictures and the Q&A, I learned a lot. I'm hoping to get eggs to hatch from my redfoots and made have success with the dart frogs. I have room in my bumble bee tank for 2-4 more. < hint, hint> And I still need a male auratus.
By the way, I left town for 4 days, fed all the critters really well and they were fine when I got home. I would hate to leave them any longer than 4 days tho. I made sure every tank had enough moisture too.
When I first joined OCHS everyone had snakes so I'm tickled pink with the diversity of the members on what herps they keep.
