Just wondering what your guys thoughts are on the whole snake ban thing?

The reason I am asking is that I have always wanted an albino burm pair. Do I need to get them now before the ban takes effect? If so do any of you guys have a go to guy for burms? From what I understand they will not be able to be transported across state lines in a few weeks.

i dont want you guys to think i am just trying to get these in a hurry i have thought about them and taken time to check their care needs
there has just always been some factor limiting me from getting them ie. no pets in a rental house, they will eat the baby, i hate snakes, they will eat the baby, again

so now i own my own house, there is not a city ordinance yet, and kids are not babies (just so you know it wasnt my current wife that hated snakes)

thanks for your time

Glen II,

IMO Florida's rules/regulations should not be imposed on the rest of us, but what I

think doesn't change the pending law.

If you want Burms for pets, you shouldn't have very much trouble finding them locally

either now or after the ban goes into effect.

Personally, I wouldn't buy them out-of-state anyway.

It's different for Burm breeders.

If they can't sell their babies in their own state, they may have a problem getting rid

of them.

The ban, as it is now, will have no affect on someone keeping a Burm for a pet in

Oklahoma if it's legal in the city/town where they live.
