How To Join OCHS

The only requirement for membership in OCHIS is an interest in herps and/or inverts.

We're a very informal group.

There are no fees to join and we don't have dues.

Some of our members have volunteered to "take on" certain responsibilities.

They can be found in the "Contact/Responsibilities" List.
 
We meet once every other month on the fourth Thursday of the month and our meetings begin at 7:00 P.M.
 
We meet at the Will Rogers Gardens Exhibition Center, Room #: 1 at 3400 N.W. 36th. St. in Oklahoma City.

Children are always welcome.

Your nonvenomous critters are also welcome at our meetings.

There may be times when you are unable to attend a meeting; however, you are always welcome.
 
We have members all over the world and all over the U.S.

As a member you will have the opportunity to meet other people who share your interest in herps and/or inverts.

You will be able to discuss your interests, exchange ideas and share your experiences.

You will also be kept abreast of the various herp related activities in the region.

In addition, from time to time, you'll have the opportunity to participate in herp related field trips, herp hunts and herp

study trips.

From time to time, I'll send you additional emails in an effort to keep you informed about what's going on in OCHIS.
