Dragar the Water Dragon

Post  snakefreak on Wed Feb 02, 2011 11:36 am

Here are some pics of Dragar, the Chinese Water Dragon that I have been keeping for Benji for the last six months or so.
He is a totally awesome lizard!

Benji got him as a rescue animal (he was kept in a ten gallon tank even when an adult), so that is why he has rubbed off the tip of his nose.

Here I let him out of his cage so he could explore around my room.

Thanks guys!
Yeah, I am loving having him around! The one thing I have to complain about him is how he poops in the water dish ALL of the time!
It is just kinda a pain to pull out a large water dish filled with water. (I tend to spill it a little on its way out of the cage! ) Laughing
Other than that, he is a totally awesome lizard! Very Happy

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy DRAGAR!!! Oh how I miss you! Excellent pics as well Cameron! I wanna frame that second pic of him and hang it on our wall of family photos! And they usually do poop in their water... depending on what they ate can dramatically affect the stench and durability of it in the water. Razz

I thought you'd be happy to see these pics!
Haha! Yeah, his poop does smell terrible!!!! lol (I have mainly been feeding him dubias and the occasional rat pinky)
I'll take some more pics of him this weekend if I can! He is very photogenic!
