It's Alive! Empty It's Alive!

The African mud turtle is alive. I'm naming him Lazarus. I had placed him in a bucket several days ago prior to burying him. Reaching in to take him to the Chelonia Cemetery, his head was poked out and he was moving. The area around his back legs are still a little puffy but otherwise he is alert and probably hungry. This is the second near-death experience for him...............a house fire and then cold water.
Strange but turtles are very resistant to death.
