Post  Barry on Fri Jun 08, 2012 11:06 am

I joined a few folks in April to visit Southern Illinois.....

Severe weather in March left a mark

Bottomland forest

Leopard Frog

I heard a lot of splashing and found what appeared to be a softshell, possibly mating

Cottonmouth

Another

Rough Green

Another

W. Ribbon

Timber!

Bald Knob

Marbled

Railroad herping

I was reminded of a scene from "The Fugitive" Suspect

Plainbelly/Yellowbelly

"Shawnee" King Very Happy

Have a great herping season!
