New Speckled King

So I went shopping while I was working at the youth camp 
I picked this awesome little snake up from Johnny Abbott, after some begging. One of the prettiest speckled kings that I have ever seen. Not sure on the sex yet.

NIIIICE!!!! I bet you are extremely happy to have that, I'd been keeping my eye out for one of those for you. It sure is beautiful!!!

Yep. It was #1 on my native list and now I can cross it off

Oh, beautiful! Speckled kings are one of my favorite snakes. Years ago we had one for awhile--WC--we released it after a couple months, but it was hard to let go!

Very nice Michael!!!!! Is that the same one that chewed on Michael Truitts arm during one of Johnny Abbott's colubrid programs Saturday?

Yep. It has been a sweetheart for me so far though. I think Michael smelled like another snake, so the king tried to eat him.
